It is, without a doubt. Yet this specific case is that she LOVES the car, has a large down payment, but refuses to commit to buying it. She was in my dealer two days ago and even still refused to buy it

I understand her position. Myself I’ve really wanted a couple cars, test drove them, had the down payment to get it and just didn’t. I’ve always been afraid of what ifs.

As someone in the same line of work, I agree.
I have learned though, everyone has a different process when it comes to buying. Some processes make sense, others make very little.
The ones who get me are the ones who stop by and want to test drive and they are 6 months or more from maki a decision. Even worse if they are looking at used cars.

I am there at least once a week. It can be worse than a no because of the time suck. I can totally recommend a book that can get people over their big purchase hump. Customer Centered Selling by Jolles. Can change your life if you let it. It doubled my sales. Im not in the car business but he gives very specific car sales examples.
